Sewage treatment plant for a house, installed
Sewage treatment plants for houses in Chișinău and its suburbs, when you want off-mains drainage that rarely needs emptying: we dig the pit to the size of the plant, set it on sand, connect the pipe from the house and the outlet for the treated water. You choose the plant or we bring it.

What we do at installation
We install the plant to its maker's instructions, because they decide how well it cleans. An electrician connects the compressor cable to the switchboard.
-
The pit
We dig it by mini excavator, a little wider than the plant, with a level bottom at the depth the house pipe needs.
-
Setting
We set the plant on a sand bed or a concrete slab, level it and fill it with water.
-
Connections
The pipe from the house, the treated water outlet and a duct for the compressor cable all go in one trench.
-
Backfill
We backfill with sand and soil in layers, topping up the plant with water as we go so its walls are not squeezed.
Where the water from the plant goes
The treated water outlet is decided before the pit is dug, because it decides whether a plant suits the plot at all.
-
Into the ground
The water can soak into the ground through a soakaway field or a drainage well, if the soil takes it, as sandy soil does. The field is pipes laid in gravel, below the plant.
-
Into a holding tank
On clay that does not take water, it goes into a tank you can use for watering. Clay like that is common around Chișinău.
-
A ring tank, simpler
If a plant does not suit the plot or your power often goes off, there is the concrete ring septic tank.
How the installation goes
Three steps. It helps to choose the plant before the visit, so we know its size.
-
We choose the spot and outlet
We look at the slope of the plot, where the well is, where the pipe leaves the house and where the treated water can go.
-
We dig and set
We dig, lay the sand or slab, lower the plant and set it level: a plant that leans cleans worse.
-
We connect and backfill
We connect the pipes and the cable duct, fill the plant with water and backfill in layers so the ground round the lids does not sink.

How much does installing a treatment plant cost?
Installation is priced per job: the pit, setting, connections and backfill. You buy the plant or we bring it, with the receipt; its price depends on how many people live in the house, and a small house can do with a mini plant. A soakaway field or a tank for the treated water is priced separately. You get the total after we see the plot.
Which is better: a treatment plant or a septic tank?
A plant cleans the water and is rarely emptied, but it needs power and somewhere for the water to go. A ring tank is cheaper and needs no power, but the truck empties it more often. A plant suits a weekend cottage poorly: without daily wastewater it cleans badly. On the visit we tell you which suits your plot.
Do you sell treatment plants?
We do not sell plants. We install the one you bought or bring the one chosen together, with the shop receipt. Before you buy, send us the model and its size, and we will tell you how it fits on your plot and where the water can go.
Want off-mains drainage?
Tell us how many people live in the house, which plant you chose and whether there is a well on the plot. The crew that does excavation in Chișinău and its suburbs gives you the installation price.
